On the occasion of legendary music director, lyricist, national award winning Hamsalekha birthday ‘Hamsotsava’ is taking place with a number of music directors, lyricists and well wishers participating in it.

Hamsalekha has set up a wide range of youths from his genesis as music director and lyricist. Prominent among them are V Manohar, K Kalyan, Anoop Seelin, Ramnath Rigvedi and others.

On June 23, Hamsalekha turns 66 and his battalion has organized a festival with slogan ‘Eleyona Baara Kannada Tera’. People from all walks of field are taking part in the ‘Hamsotsava’.

On 23rd June Hamsalekha will be brought in a silver chariot from 1 pm starting from Ganesha Temple in Kanteerava studio. He will travel in the chariot to Dr Rajakumar Kalakshetra in Rajajinagara. The procession will be having Naada Geethe, group songs, Kannada Hamsa audio CD, books will be distributed free, Lahari Audio has come forward to give 5000 CD free, non Kannada people who speak Kannada will be fed with sweets, 30 feet cut, in desi style the women with Kalasa and Aarathi will be seen.

In the evening it will be ‘Rasamanjari’. Hamsalekha Jilebi will be introduced on that. The Kannada cinema industry is taking part in the memorable event.
